I arrived in Le Havre only a few years ago and fell in love with a town which continues to amaze me. It has a rich, varied and constantly changing heritage that can be explored on foot or by tram. By sharing my own particular favourites, I hope to give you some insight into a number of the multiple facets of the identity of this fascinating and charming town. Let us wonder at its varied architecture, from Art Nouveau to Haussmann-style buildings, from Art Deco to Auguste Perret’s reconstruction, not to mention the bricks in the historic centre or the rapidly changing port districts next to former industrial wasteland.
