My Le Havre roots have been hardy enough to pretty well withstand a career mainly spent abroad as an expatriate. I have a true love of Le Havre and have always made a point of coming home. Naturally enough, I settled down here when I retired. As I have lived in around 20 different towns including cities abroad, what I love about Le Havre is that it is very different, with a fascinating history as an industrial city and port. Its architecture, its history (both closely intertwined!) and its world-class port are sources of endless discussion and anecdotes. You have chosen Le Havre as your destination? You have made the right choice! Let us go and explore it together…

Where I will take you:

  • Lower Town and World Heritage City Center
  • The seaside, the beach
  • Green spaces
