My Le Havre roots have been hardy enough to pretty well withstand a career mainly spent abroad as an expatriate. I have a true love of Le Havre and have always made a point of coming home. Naturally enough, I settled down here when I retired. As I have lived in around 20 different towns including cities abroad, what I love about Le Havre is that it is very different, with a fascinating history as an industrial city and port.
